Properties of Teflon High-Temperature Fabric/PTFE High-Temperature Fabric

2025-05-08

Teflon high-temperature fabric is a high-performance, multifunctional composite material made by impregnating high-performance

glass fiber yarn with suspended polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion. It is also known as PTFE high-temperature fabric.

1 Temperature Resistance: Teflon high-temperature fabric (PTFE high-temperature fabric) operates effectively between -196°C

and 300°C, with excellent weather resistance and anti-aging properties.

2 Non-Stick Surface: It adheres to almost no substances, making it easy to clean. Even stubborn residues like dough, resin, or

coatings can be removed effortlessly.

3 Chemical Resistance: Resistant to strong acids, alkalis, sulfuric acid, and most organic solvents.

4 Low Friction: Ideal for oil-free self-lubricating bearings due to its ultra-low friction coefficient.

5 High Light Transmittance: Light transmittance ranges from 6% to 13%.

6 Flame Retardancy: Exhibits high flame resistance and low dielectric constant.

7 Dimensional Stability: Minimal elongation (less than 5‰) and high strength.

8 Pharmaceutical Compatibility: Non-toxic and resistant to almost all pharmaceutical substances.

9 Fireproofing: Outstanding flame-retardant properties.
